I visited the Titan Missile museum today. The Titan II, as shown below (yes, that's an actual missile) is 150ft long and carries a 9 megaton nuclear missile, capable of leveling houses at a radius of 27 miles. The Tucson area had 18 of them, all in underground bunkers like this one, but they were dismantled in the late 80s and the bunkers sold off (yes, I wish I had a bunker to live in). All except this one.
Tonight's camp site is in the desert near some old gold mines, east of Tombstone, AZ. Not a bad view, really.
A few old buildings remain at the mining sites in the area, built in the 1880s and 90s.
